IRCSET Call for Postdoctoral Fellowships in Science, Engineering and Technology

Since 2002, the Irish Research Council for Science, Engineering and Technology (IRCSET) has run an annual Call for Postdoctoral Fellowships, awarding fellowships to talented early-stage researchers from all over the world .
These prestigious fellowships are targeted at high-calibre early-career researchers (no more than 3 years post PhD), and the competition is open to any researcher worldwide who meets this criterion.
The next call is due to open on the 26th of October 2011
IRCSET wishes to attract a significant number of applications from suitably-qualified candidates and is particularly interested in soliciting applications from talented female researchers, who, although always under-represented in the number of applications received during the postdoctoral calls, consistently outperform the male applicants in terms of success rate. Approximately 20 of these highly sought-after fellowships will be awarded via this year’s Call.
