MW-Sonet Final Conference ALTA '2011

The event is a Final Conference of the "MW-Sonet – Mentoring rural women through social networking" (Project number: LLP-LDV-TOI-2009-LT-0052 financed by the European Commission)

the 27-28 October 2011 in Kaunas, Lithuania

MW Sonet is led by Baltic Education Technology Institute (BETI), Lithuania with a wide approach to e-learning technologies.

The conference aim is to promote international cooperation and to invite specialists, business sector participants, teachers and trainers as well as etc. participants of virtual communities to discuss about advanced learning technologies and applications in e-education.

Conference topics:

  • Innovative LLL: social tools and networks, key competencies development, learning community building
  • E-learning: open educational resources, teaching and learning methodology, new training models, cooperative learning and activity based learning, quality assurance;
  • Innovation and research: Web 2.0 and Web 3.0, mobile technologies, science and business cooperation;
  • Good practice examples: international cooperation and communities, projects results, cases.
