Christine Regitz, Vice President for Energy Management at SAP, has accepted to take over the role as SAP representative in the High-level Advisory Committe of the European Centre for Women and Technology after Henrike Paetz, Director Communications & Dissemination, SAP Research.

Christine Regitz is passionate about the topic of Women & IT, has also a long and successful history as a woman in a technological area and she is an active contributor to several women’s networks and initiatives in Germany.

Christine has been at SAP since 1994 in different roles, domains and departments. She entered her new position in July 2011.Christine is Founder of the Business Women’s Network @SAP (BWN), ever since a leading member. Christine is Member of the executive committee of the ‘Gesellschaft für Informatik (GI) e.V.’, Spokesperson of the ‘Women in Informatics’ group of the GI. Delegate for SAP and GI e.V. in BITKOM taskforce “Women in IT & T business” and Delegate in the ‚Deutsche Frauenrat e.V.‘
