"Companies pink are 1.4 million, grew more than male ones and are more resilient to crisis."
This is what emerges from the 2nd National Report on Women's Entrepreneurship of the Lombardy regional chamber of commerce.
Lombardy hosts the largest number of women-owned businesses (about 200 000 companies), an increase of +0.4%. In the province of Milan there are over 57 thousand, +1.2% compared to 2009.
Despite the crisis, the data tell us that women, when they do business, are good because they are bearers of values and important skills, also linked to their relational quality, pragmatic, creative.
To this end, the roundtable aims to present both resources made available for start up businesses run by women, and tools that encourage the creation of a network of communication between entrepreneurs and foster new business opportunities between companies. Finally, investments will be presented to the creation and support networks for women.
