'eGen – women on board in ICT, technology and innovation'

ECWT Networking Session - Tuesday, the 28th of September

at 16:00-17:30 in room 1101

There is growing evidence to support the view that getting women involved in ICT adds value throughout the entire innovation chain.

The networking session is focusing on interdisciplinary experiences in order to get more girls and women involved in ICT, technology and innovation.

The session will present good examples of running Framework Program Projects and other initiatives and Trans-Atlantic experiences will be shared.

An EU action plan moving from raising awareness to integrating the gender dimension in ICT, technology and innovation in all policy-making will also be discussed. The aim of this action plan is to mainstream the needs of female ICT users and accelerate ICT take-up among women
