This report present the best practices of 20 private and public organizations in recruiting women to the ITEC sector in the UK.
 

Fewer than one in five Information Technology, Electronics and Computing (ITEC) professionals and managers are women and female representation ITEC is decreasing. Yet, there is a strong business case for increasing the proportion of women employed in this sector.

But how can organisations attract and recruit more women into ITEC roles?

This report is based on case studies in 20 organisations that are attempting to address this problem. The organisations range from household names including Microsoft, Google and Unilever to public sector organisations such as the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and West Lothian Community Health Care Partnership, to Small and Medium sized Enterprises, Chameleon Net and TradingScreen.

We report on their examples of best practice in recruiting women.
